Mary-Catherine Stoddart
Owner | Veterinary Technician | Full-Time Pet Sitter
My interests in animals started at a very young age. In 2004, I was permitted to help with the raising of a black lab for “Guiding Eyes for the Blind.” I learned a lot about dog training by raising Kristoff, by going to obedience classes on a weekly basis and being his handler/trainer through the process. Kristoff was nurtured and equipped with the skills needed for his future as a guide dog.
In August 2012, I started volunteering and working with the most difficult dogs at the Humane Society. I walked the dogs that other volunteers were afraid to walk because they were too strong, too aggressive, or too big. While working at the Humane Society, I met Papi, the official mascot for Fur and Feathers Pet Services LLC!
I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant for 5 years with dogs, cats, exotics, and large animals. I have 10 years’ experience pet sitting while still working at veterinary hospitals and the humane society. Most importantly, I love animals! My hobbies include being with my 3 dogs, hiking, swimming, and kayaking.
In 2018, I graduated the Veterinary Technician program with an Associate of Science degree from Penn Foster College. I also received an Associate in Business Administration from Caldwell Community College in 2019. I continue to learn more about our pets by attending continuing education classes.

Over the last 12 years I have worked as both a volunteer and employee in animal welfare. I am experienced in care giving for various species of animals, including parrots, dogs, cats and exotics. I have volunteered at zoos and aquariums, worked and volunteered at exotic and large animal sanctuaries throughout the United States, and have also worked as a veterinary assistant. I’m especially fond of parrots, and have a deep appreciation for all kinds of birds. The majority of my experience revolves around avian care and husbandry.
Papi
Official Company Mascot
Papi, a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier Mix came into our lives in 2012 from the Humane Society. He became an emotional support animal for anxiety and panic attacks. He goes everywhere with Mary-Catherine and accompanies some of the dogs on their walks.
